In order for the farmers, entrepreneurs, government workers and other stakeholders to realize the advantages and potentials of community-based and sustainable farm tourism in the Philippines, the International School of Sustainable Tourism (ISST), together with the Municipality of Lucban, Province of Quezon, Department of Tourism (DOT), and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) hold its 3rd Farm Tourism Conference with the theme “Healthy Soils for a Healthy Life”. The event is in support to the United Nations Declaration of 2015 as the International Year of Soils (IYS). The participants are mostly coming from the agriculture, business, and government sector particularly, from the Local Government Units (LGUs) and tourism offices.
