In an effort to understand and to deepen appreciation on basic Gender and Development (GAD) concepts and its legal mandates, to appreciate the importance of integrating gender perspective in research as well as to acquire basic knowledge in analyzing gender issues, the Bureau of Agricultural Research (BAR) holds the first Gender Sensitivity Training. Participants of the three-day activity include GAD focal persons, members of the Executive Committee and technical working group, and alternate focals.
