The DA-Bureau of Agricultural Research held its ceremonial turnover of leadership from former DA-BAR OIC-director Dr. Sailila E. Abdula to newly-designated OIC-director Joell H. Lales on 10 November 2022 in Diliman, Quezon City.

Witnessing the event were OIC-assistant director Anthony B. Obligado, division and unit heads, and staff of the bureau.

Per DA Special Order 871 Series of 2022, Lales was designated as the bureau’s OIC-director on 24 October 2022, while Dr. Abdula is now the DA-SOCCSKSARGEN OIC-regional executive director, in full-time capacity.
