Communicating effectively to our partners and stakeholders as well as the general public the available agri-fisheries technology interventions remains, and will always be, a key priority of the DA-BAR.
Especially during these times, when face to face coordination still has limitations, online dissemination is the safest and most efficient alternative to ensure that research for development (R4D)-generated innovations reach our intended users–our farmers and fisherfolk.
In this website are information about the bureau, its activities, accomplishments, and initiatives. You will find here the bureau’s various publications like annual reports, quarterly magazines, and e-newsletters. Details on the various BAR-funded projects and programs and contact information of all our R4DE partners and implementing agencies are also found here.
As we chart a path that will lead us to better results and performance–all towards economic recovery, food security, and poverty alleviation—DA-BAR commits to further improve its services–pursuing a pro-poor new DA-BAR R4DE agenda propelled by market driven, problem-oriented, and farmer-centered agri-fisheries technology innovations. It will continue strengthening the R4DE linkages to farmers and fisherfolk through the Regional Research Development and Extension Networks prioritizing the poorest provinces.
In its commitment to continuously provide vital information and resources to fulfill our mandate and serve the Filipino farmers and fishers, the bureau shall remain focused on ensuring that important outputs of R4D undertakings are promoted, scaled out, and used by intended beneficiaries to increase their productivity.
Thank you!
