IMPACT EVALUATION Second part: Micro-level analysis

For the micro-level analysis, 8 projects from CAR, Regions III, VI, VII and XI were selected for evaluation. In the micro-level perspective, both quantitative and qualitative analyses are employed to determine the impact of the projects. The quantitative approach makes use of the Benefit-Cost Analysis (BCA), wherein the impact will be quantitatively determined using data gathered from documents and surveys and key informants.
Region XI
Davao City

Oton, Iloilo and Jordan, Guimaras

| Two projects on native chicken were selected in Region VI for the impact evaluation: the “Development of a Health Program for the Philippine Native Chicken in Panay and Guimaras” and “Community-based Development of a Production and Marketing System for the Philippine Native Chicken in Western Visayas”, both from DA-WESVIARC. In Oton, Iloilo, the farmer-cooperators of the mentioned projects were gathered for the FGD. |

The yam farmers, who are also members of the New Era Farmer’s Association, Inc (NEFAI), are the cooperators of Benguet State University for the project “Enhancing the Availability of Quality Planting Materials for Promising Local Purple Yam (Dioscorea alata)”. |

Ormoc City
