CRGM Orientation for Regions 4 and 6Text and Photos by Ellaine Grace L. NagpalaThe Bureau of Agricultural Research (BAR) continues to conduct an orientation on the Competitive Research Grants Manual for the Local Government Units (LGUs) and Non- Government Organizations (NGOs). CRGM intends to strengthen the system of coordination, monitoring and evaluation of research projects in agriculture and fisheries. It provides guidelines for a more effective and efficient research management. The series of orientation is likewise conducted to achieve an increased understanding of the BAR requirements and criteria for R & D proposal approval. To ensure effectiveness of R & D management, it is essential that stakeholders, concerned agencies and organizations are aware of the existing guidelines in research project implementation.
