BAR-sponsored Seminars at 2017 Agrilink

Part of the Bureau of Agricultural Research (BAR)’s participation in 2017 Agrilink was the conduct of two sponsored seminar topics on native pig production and processing and zero waste utilization of squash. The seminar was held on 5 October 2017 at Function Room 3 of the World Trade Center, Pasay City, Manila.

The first topic, “Technology Development and Commercialization of Production System and Meat Processing from Organically-Grown Native Pig” was presented by Wilmer Faylon of the Department of Agriculture- Regional Field Office (DA-RFO) CALABARZON while the second topic on “Zero Waste Utilization of Squash” was discussed by Arlene de Asis of DA-RFO 5.

Both topics were results generated research and development (R&D) initiatives funded and supported by BAR. The conduct of in-house seminars is a regular activity of the bureau led by its Applied Communication Division. ###
