Technology Commercialization Unit
Functions
- Provide the overall coordination of the National Technology Commercialization (Tech Com) Program in the Bureau and the Department of Agriculture.
- Serve as the focal unit in the management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of technology commercialization plans, programs and activities of DA-NaRDSAF member-agencies.
- Provide technical assistance in the development and management of R&D projects and technology commercialization activities supportive to the thrusts, themes and goals of the Department of Agriculture.
- Assist in the preparation and packaging of R&D and Tech Com training modules for the efficient and effective human resource development and management in the NaRDSAF.
- Serve as liaison to and between research partners under the National Research and Development System for Agriculture and Fisheries (NaRDSAF) such as DA staff bureaus and attached agencies, state colleges and universities, research institutions and other government organizations.
