Functions

• Consolidates and prepares the annual operational plan of the Bureau in coordination with all divisions and units;
• Consolidates and prepares the program of activities of divisions and units based on the annual operational plan;
• Consolidates and prepares the periodic accomplishments of the Bureau (annual, semestral, quarterly, and monthly) and other documents required from the Bureau e.g. Medium Term Plan, Investment Plan, Commitments, for submission to concerned offices/agencies;
• Develops/provides appropriate briefing materials for technical budget hearings and R&D/E related consultation-meetings and workshops;
• Consolidates and prepares the Bureau’s inputs and responses to congressional directives and initiatives related to agriculture and fishery R&D/E;
• Coordinates conduct of planning, consultation-meetings and/or workshops with R&D/E partner institutions and stakeholders; and
• Orchestrates the consolidation and endorsement of agency R&D/E budget proposals in agriculture and fisheries in coordination with concerned divisions and partner institutions.
